The Worcester Wieting Theater is a historic movie house that honors the vision and legacy of Helen Wieting, who built it to be a center of culture and entertainment for Worcester and the surrounding communities.
First-run films play on summer weekends, with Sunday matinees. From September on, classic films are shown for free, with a horror and suspense theme in October. The Wieting is also the home stage of the Catskill Community Players, who present two shows a year.
