Verona Beach State Park
About
Verona Beach State Park sits on the eastern shore of Oneida Lake and is a favorite with picnickers and campers. Shaded picnic areas and the campground are right next to the beach, with excellent views over the water. Families, anglers and nature lovers all find reasons to stay for the day.
The lake, Black Creek, cattail marshes and bottomland hardwood swamps give the park one of the most diverse aquatic habitats in the Central Region, and the Woods and Wetland nature trail is a good way to see them. In winter, it hosts snowmobilers, cross-country skiers and ice fishermen.
