Upstate University Hospital is the hospital of SUNY Upstate Medical University, with the main Downtown campus at 750 E. Adams St. on Syracuse’s University Hill. A second campus, Upstate Community Hospital, is at 4900 Broad Road. Upstate describes the Downtown adult and pediatric emergency departments as the region’s only Level 1 trauma center, taking patients by ground and air from a 17-county area. The hospital also includes Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital and the Upstate Cancer Center.
