Tug Hill Alpacas

About

Tug Hill Alpacas is an 88-acre forested alpaca farm in Camden, on the edge of the Tug Hill region in northern Oneida County. The farm breeds and sells quality alpacas, and fiber from its own herd becomes handspun yarn along with hats, scarves and other crocheted goods.

Pieces made from the herd’s fiber make for a one-of-a-kind souvenir or gift, since visitors can know exactly which animals it came from. Tours are offered by appointment, which gives visitors a chance to meet the alpacas and see where the yarn begins.
