Tipperary Hill Shamrock Run
About
The Tipperary Hill Shamrock Run is an annual road race through one of Syracuse’s most historic Irish neighborhoods. The USA Track & Field-certified course winds past many of Tipp Hill’s favorite landmarks, including parks, striking churches and the pubs the neighborhood is known for. It is a fun way to see Tipp Hill on foot.
Runners also pass the famous Green-On-Top traffic light, where the green signal sits above the red. The current 4-mile route was designed by the neighborhood association’s race committee with input from runners. Prizes go to the top three overall male and female finishers, plus the top finishers in various age groups.
