The Tepee

About

The Tepee is a roadside shop on Historic Route 20, about halfway between the villages of Cherry Valley and Sharon Springs. The vintage roadside landmark is an iconic structure that surprises first-time visitors and gives travelers on the old highway a reason to pull over.

Inside, shoppers find Minnetonka moccasins, Native American-made items, drums, flutes, music and books, along with products made in the USA and locally. Outside, the hilltop setting is known for a broad view of the Mohawk Valley that reaches some 90 miles north to the Adirondacks.
