Tailwater Lodge is a fishing lodge in Altmar on the banks of the Salmon River, only minutes from the fishing waters of Lake Ontario. It is set up for fishing and adventure weekends, with Adirondack-style lodge amenities, dining and a pro shop.
Experienced guides lead trips on more than 2,000 feet of private water on the Salmon River, which is famed for salmon and steelhead. From spring into summer, the draws include trout and trophy smallmouth bass as well.
