St. Patrick’s Parade

About

The Syracuse St. Patrick’s Parade was founded by Nancy Duffy, who wanted to bring her Irish heritage and culture to the streets of Syracuse. It all began with a meeting at Coleman’s Pub, and it has since grown into an annual tradition for the whole city.

Today the parade is run entirely by volunteers, who start planning for the next year almost the day after one ends. It is described as one of the highlights of the year in Syracuse, and it brings the city’s Irish pride out into the open.
