Spongetta’s Garden
About
Spongetta’s Garden is a floating farm in West Winfield, in Herkimer County. That means its flowers are grown in gardens borrowed from friends and neighbors rather than on one single plot of land, an arrangement that spreads the growing across the community.
The borrowed gardens are private and not open to the public, but visitors are welcome at the farm’s studio in West Winfield by appointment. It is a small, personal operation rather than a drop-in farm stand.
