Sled for Red

About

Sled for Red is a cardboard sledding derby in Syracuse, where participants race down the slopes in sleds built from nothing but cardboard, tape and paint. The thrills and spills help raise money and awareness for a great cause, so every wipeout is for a good reason.

After the races, the crowd gathers in a heated tent for food and drinks and a chance to vote in the Battle of the Bars. The Bells Brewery Ice Bar is a highlight. It is a winter event, so dress warmly for the hill. Visit Syracuse features the event.
