Rome YMCA
About
Rome YMCA has served the community for more than 145 years, making it one of the longest-running organizations in the city. It offers youth swim lessons and before-school and after-school care, along with other recreation for families. Families in Rome have relied on it for generations.
A Y is a place where children learn to swim, parents find help with after-school care and neighbors work out and meet each other. In a city with Rome’s long history, a community fixture of this age says a lot about how much it matters to local life.
