Robert V. Riddell State Park

About

Robert V. Riddell State Park is a state park of more than 1,000 acres near the city of Oneonta, with agricultural fields and both deciduous and coniferous forests. It sits just off I-88 at exit 17, which makes it easy to reach from the highway for a quick outing.

Schenevus Creek, a popular Class A trout stream that flows toward the Susquehanna River, crosses the northern part of the park. Fishing and hiking are the main draws, and the park stays useful in winter for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, making it a good stop in any season.
