Richfield Springs Scenic Railway
About
Richfield Springs Scenic Railway is an eco-friendly narrow gauge tourist railway that runs through a nature park on an old rail line built in 1868. The train rolls through a linear park, with cedars and tamaracks close enough that the branches come within inches of the cars.
The Saturday Nature Discovery trains take a one-hour round trip through a diverse wildlife area into the Great Cedar Swamp, with a narrated history of the railroad as the train follows Mink Creek. In spring and summer there are sunset cruise trains, and holiday trains and winter trains run later in the year.
