Quilting Shoppe, The
About
The Quilting Shoppe is a retail shop in Marcellus for people who sew and quilt. Quilting is a craft with deep roots in rural America, and a dedicated shop gives hobbyists a place to browse fabric, gather supplies and talk through a project with someone who shares the interest.
Marcellus is a small town west of Syracuse, and a specialty shop like this one is a draw for quilters from nearby towns who prefer shopping in person over ordering online. Crafters often lean on a local shop for advice on color, pattern and technique.
