Oxbow Falls County Park
About
Oxbow Falls County Park is a 125-acre Madison County park near Canastota, a rugged spread of woods and streams crowned by a 100-foot waterfall. The park sits on high ground at the edge of an escarpment, and on clear days the view stretches across Oneida Lake toward Lake Ontario.
It is a low-key place for a quiet walk, a picnic or a game on the ball field. Disc golfers have their own reason to visit, since the park has an 18-hole disc golf course. Between the falls, the woods and the long views, it makes an easy outing in northern Madison County.
