Oswego Players, Inc.

About

The Oswego Players, Inc. is one of the oldest continuously operating community theaters in New York State, organized in 1938 by Frances Marion Brown and fellow colleagues. Its home is the Oswego Civic Arts Center, on the Fort Ontario Park complex in Oswego, a long-running home for local theater.

The intimate Frances Marion Brown Theater has more than 90 seats, so every audience member sits close to the stage. The company produces four mainstage productions in a season and supports the Theater Arts Youth Academy for students ages 8 to 18, along with several scholarship programs for aspiring young actors.
