New Hartford American Legion
About
Veterans in the New Hartford area, just outside Utica in Oneida County, have a membership organization of their own in New Hartford American Legion. Its mission is to honor and serve veterans, including helping those who need support getting the benefits they have earned through their service, and it welcomes new members from the area.
The Legion also reaches into the wider community, sponsoring American Legion baseball, Boy Scouts and Boys State and backing several local charities. It lends a hand to a food program for veterans as well. Its motto is Veterans Strengthening America, and new members are welcome to join.
