Lockwood Lavender Farms
About
Lockwood Lavender Farms is a fifth-generation farm in Skaneateles, in the Finger Lakes region. It used to run as a U-pick lavender farm, and today it grows fresh culinary lavender for the kitchen. Culinary lavender is used in baking, drinks and seasonings, so a fresh supply is a treat for adventurous cooks.
The lavender is sold at Rhubarb Kitchen and Garden Shop in Skaneateles and at local farmers’ markets. Skaneateles sits at the north end of Skaneateles Lake, a village known for its lakefront setting, and lavender fits right into that scene.
