Leland Ponds
About
Leland Ponds is a pair of clear kettle ponds in the town of Eaton, in Madison County, with easy roadside access for anglers. Each pond has its own launch, so it’s simple to get a small boat or kayak onto the water and start fishing within minutes of parking.
The two ponds fish differently. Upper Leland is known for its trout fishing, while Lower Leland offers good action for bass and tiger musky. Kettle ponds were carved out by glaciers, which is why they tend to be deep, clear and tucked among the hills.
