Lalonde Studios

Lalonde Studios is an art studio in Clinton run by two artists, Moe and Sarah. Moe is a woodworker with more than 40 years of experience who spent much of his career building custom cabinetry and furniture before moving into wood sculpture. The studio’s focus is handmade work.

His specialty is gluing up locally sourced hardwoods with no mechanical fasteners, and some pieces contain nearly 200 linear feet of precision glue joints. He then shapes sculptures that let the wood’s natural colors and textures stand out. Sarah is a multimedia artist who specializes in botanical and environmental pieces.
