Lakefront Park
About
Lakefront Park is a small public park on the shore of Otsego Lake, just a few minutes’ walk from downtown Cooperstown. The 2.6-acre green space is a peaceful, scenic spot to start the day, end it or squeeze in a break between sights. It’s a good spot to sit with a coffee and watch the lake.
The park has an octagonal bandstand with a stone base, restrooms, benches and picnic tables, plus a public boat launch, village boat docks and racks for canoes and kayaks. It’s also a gathering place for fishing tournaments, concerts, triathlons and other community events, including the Cooperstown Lakefront Concert Series.
