Kirkland Art Center
About
Kirkland Art Center is a community arts organization in Clinton, in Oneida County, located in the Clinton Historic District on the village green. Founded in 1961, it has operated from its village green home since 1966 and has served as an arts hub and cultural center for the Mohawk Valley for more than six decades.
The center presents live music concerts, theater productions and exhibitions by national, regional and local artists, along with creative classes that range from basketry to figure drawing to wheel throwing. Programming is open to all ages, and the center calls itself a vital part of community members’ personal histories.
