Intertek
About
Intertek is a global testing, inspection and certification company with a location in Cortland, the Cortland County seat and home of SUNY Cortland. It helps manufacturers confirm that their products meet quality and safety standards before they reach customers. Intertek is a name that shows up on product labels around the world.
Testing labs matter to manufacturers, since certification marks often decide whether a product can be sold in stores. A lab in Cortland gives regional companies a nearby place to get that work done, and it brings technical jobs to Cortland County.
