Ingalls Blueberry Hill

About

Blueberries are the whole point at Ingalls Blueberry Hill, a pick-your-own farm in Milford, about five miles south of Cooperstown in Otsego County. The ten-acre field overlooks the Susquehanna Valley and the Cooperstown Dreams Park ball fields, and the berries are certified organic, which suits families with young children.

Visitors pick their own berries, using one- or two-gallon buckets that come with a removable plastic bag for the trip home. The berries are rain-washed and touched only by the picker’s own hands. The farm welcomes kids, with a wink that they should come back in twenty years to pay for all the berries they ate.
