High Adventure Sportsfishing

Lake Ontario is the playground for High Adventure Sportsfishing, a full-time professional charter and guide service based in Oswego. The crew takes anglers out for salmon, steelhead and brown trout, and also guides on the Salmon River near Pulaski, with a motto that if it swims, they will fish for it.

Chinook, also called king salmon, and coho salmon are the headliners, along with brown trout, steelhead, Atlantic salmon and lake trout. The guides have decades of experience and like to pass along the tips and tricks that make a day on the water successful, which is a plus for first-timers.
