Hi, Neighbor

About

Since the 1950s, Hi, Neighbor has been keeping Madison County up to date. It’s a free community newspaper and pennysaver published out of Erieville, a small hamlet in the county, and it has grown into a regional read, with copies distributed into four surrounding counties as well.

Each week the paper runs at least 12 pages, now with color, and copies are dropped off across Madison County and into the four surrounding counties. There is a digital edition online too. The team also publicizes local events, sells ad space and classifieds, and works with local writers.

What to Know

  • Print distribution runs roughly 3,000 to 4,500 copies a week, delivered across Madison County and the counties around it.
  • The paper is free to pick up, which fits its pennysaver roots.
  • Classified ads and business ad space are available for local advertisers.
  • Community groups can get events publicized, and local writers are welcome to contribute.
  • Hi, Neighbor is a member of the Greater Oneida Chamber of Commerce.
