Great Lakes Recycling

Great Lakes Recycling is a redemption center in Oswego where used beverage containers are turned in and recycled. New York puts a deposit on many bottles and cans, and a redemption center is where people go to get that deposit back while keeping the containers out of the trash.

For households in the Oswego area, a local recycler keeps bags of cans and bottles out of the trash and puts a little money back in your pocket. Oswego sits on Lake Ontario at the mouth of the Oswego River, a short drive from Fulton.
