Gilbertsville Expressive Movement, Inc. – GEM is a sculpture park in the village of Gilbertsville, in Otsego County. What began as a private patronage in 2013 has grown into an outdoor art destination open to the public, with some pieces on permanent display and others on loan.
The park is the brainchild of entrepreneur and art collector Barry L. Skolnick, who set it on the 14-acre campus of the former Gilbertsville Central School. His aim is to support artistic excellence in the Appalachian region of New York, with events that welcome audiences of all ages.
