Fort Ontario Ghost Hunt
About
Fort Ontario Ghost Hunt is an after-dark paranormal tour at Fort Ontario in Oswego, part of the area’s fall fright-night lineup. Guests head out in timed groups to try to capture haunted experiences, using their own ghost-hunting equipment or gear provided on site. It makes for an atmospheric evening at one of Oswego’s best-known landmarks.
The evening begins with a ghost reveal and then turns into a hunt around the fort grounds, with Lake Ontario’s wind adding to the atmosphere. It is open to ages 8 and up, and the property has stone steps and grassy slopes, so sturdy shoes matter.
