Fenimore Farm and Country Village
About
Step into rural New York around 1845 at Fenimore Farm and Country Village, a living history museum in Cooperstown. Daily chores go on at the working farm while commerce carries on in the country village, showing how trades, village life and agriculture fit together. It is one of the oldest living history museums in the country.
Exhibits, craft demonstrations and hands-on activities bring the period to life, so visitors do more than look at objects behind glass. Autumn is a busy time, with events such as Harvest Festival, Weaving Weekend, Blacksmith Weekend and Tractor Fest, plus ghost tours in October.
