Exelon Generation

About

Exelon Generation is a power generation business, the generating arm of Exelon Corporation, a Fortune 100 energy company. Its Central New York connection is Lycoming, a town on the Lake Ontario shore in Oswego County that is home to the Nine Mile Point nuclear station.

Exelon’s generating fleet combines nuclear, gas, wind, solar and hydroelectric capacity, which the company has described as one of the nation’s cleanest and lowest-cost. Exelon’s generation business has since been spun off as a separate company, Constellation. The business is a member of CenterState CEO and the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce.
