Dowd Fine Arts Center

Dowd Fine Arts Center is an art gallery and studio space on the SUNY Cortland campus in Cortland. It is where the college’s visual art community puts finished work on the wall, and where the public is welcome to see what students and faculty have been making.

Two shows anchor the calendar. The juried Student Select exhibition runs each spring semester and gives student artists a real gallery setting. The Faculty Biennial comes around every other year and highlights recent work by members of the Art and Art History Department, in a range of media.
