Deer Run Campground
About
Deer Run Campground is a family-oriented campground in Cooperstown, close to the village’s big-name attractions. The National Baseball Hall of Fame, Doubleday Field, the Farmers’ Museum and the Glimmerglass Festival are all just minutes away, along with many of the area’s other museums, which makes it an easy base for a baseball-flavored family vacation.
Sites come in several types, including roomy spots for RVs and tents, with some of them quite private and secluded. Campers without gear can book a rustic cabin, which sleeps four on two sets of twin bunk beds. The setting is rural and scenic, there is a playground for kids, and pets are welcome.
