Crystal’s Customs is a small, privately owned glassblowing studio in Morris, a rural town in Otsego County. Crystal teaches hands-on classes in a quiet country setting, so beginners can try a craft that most people only ever watch. The beautiful rural setting is part of the draw.
Classes are capped at three people, which keeps the experience personal and unhurried. Students design and make their own pieces, from paperweights to cups and vases, with plenty of one-on-one attention along the way. It is a friendly environment for a first try.
