The Community Folk Art Center is a cultural destination in Syracuse that celebrates the artistic contributions of African American artists and artists from underrepresented communities across Central New York. Exhibitions run in the Herbert T. Williams Gallery, and live performances and community events take place in the Community Black Box Theatre.

It is a place to make art as well as look at it, with dance and music classes, ceramics and visual arts workshops for all ages. The center’s gallery, theatre, multi-purpose room and dance studio are also available for performances, workshops, meetings, celebrations and special events. Visit Syracuse features it.
