Chasin’ Tail Adventures

Captain Andy Bliss, a full-time guide, runs Chasin’ Tail Adventures in Oswego, chasing salmon, steelhead and brown trout on the Lake Ontario tributaries. Trips float the Oswego River in a custom Hyde drift boat, with New York’s famous Salmon River as the other main option.

Capt. Andy has fished Lake Ontario, the Oswego River and other upstate waters since he was a kid, and he worked with many charter captains in his youth to learn the trade. The business says it is one of only two full-time professional fishing guides on the Oswego River.
