Catfish Creek & Flying Fish Charters

About

Catfish Creek & Flying Fish Charters runs fishing trips on Lake Ontario’s Mexico Bay out of New Haven, in Oswego County. Guests head out on a 30-foot Sportcraft that carries all of the tackle and electronics needed for a day of fishing, and the captain handles the rest.

The captain guides guests to wherever the fish are biting, starting with brown trout at ice-out and moving through lake trout, steelhead and salmon in summer. Big salmon arrive in late summer, when catches of 20 to 30 pounds are common. Cabin lodging and marina services round out the setup.
