Carrier
About
Carrier is the heating, ventilating and air conditioning company with deep roots in the Syracuse area. For decades the region was a center of Carrier’s work, and the company’s name was on the Carrier Dome at Syracuse University until the stadium was renamed, a reminder of how closely the two were linked.
Willis Carrier is credited with inventing modern air conditioning, and the company that carries his name still makes heating and cooling systems. The company is a member of CenterState CEO, the regional chamber of commerce.
