Burnet Park
About
Burnet Park is a sprawling city park on Syracuse’s west side with plenty for sports fans. The grounds hold two softball diamonds, one of them lighted, a baseball diamond and two multipurpose fields used for football, soccer and lacrosse. It is one of the city’s best-known green spaces.
There are also two tennis courts, a basketball court and two handball courts. The pool is a big outdoor one, 50 meters long with eight lanes and depths from four to fourteen feet, plus a spray fountain for smaller kids. Winter brings ice skating, hockey and broomball.
