Burnet Park Golf Course

About

Built in 1901, Burnet Park Golf Course is one of the oldest golf courses in New York State. It sits on Syracuse’s west side in historic Tipperary Hill, a neighborhood with deep Irish roots and a long local memory. Tipperary Hill is also famous for its upside-down traffic light, with green above red.

True to that heritage, the first hole features what is described as the country’s only shamrock-shaped bunker. The course was completely renovated in 1988, and because it sits on the city’s highest point, golfers get sweeping views along with dynamic hole designs.
