Bike Thru History invites cyclists to discover historic sites and communities across the Mohawk Valley by bicycle. It offers more than 30 routes designed for beginners, families, intermediate riders and century riders. The effort is based in Utica and turns a history lesson into a day in the saddle.

The Mohawk Valley is rich in history, from Fort Stanwix in Rome to the Erie Canal towns along the river. Biking lets riders move from place to place at an easy pace and stop wherever something catches their eye.
