Beaver Lake Nature Center

About

Beaver Lake Nature Center is where Baldwinsville-area families go to see Central New York wetlands up close. Minks, herons and bullfrogs live here, and eight miles of maintained trails wind through the habitat for walkers, hikers and, in winter, snowshoers and cross-country skiers. It is a kid-friendly outing in every season.

Programs and guided tours run each season, and equipment rentals are available for visitors who want to get out on the trails. Bird watchers should aim for the fall and spring migrations. Early September brings the Golden Harvest Festival, a family-friendly celebration of nature and the harvest.
