Baxter
About
Baxter is a manufacturing and industrial company in Skaneateles, the Onondaga County village at the north end of Skaneateles Lake. Skaneateles is better known for its lakefront and village shops, so a manufacturer here is a reminder that the area’s economy has a working side too.
Manufacturing companies in the area often keep ties to regional groups that connect them with suppliers, workers and peers. Skaneateles itself is a small village with a walkable center and the lake at its edge, a setting that makes industrial employers a quieter presence than in a big city.
