Barbagallo’s Tavern

About

Barbagallo’s Tavern opened in 1972 in the middle of the Barbagallo farm in East Syracuse. The family name traces back to Sicily, and the restaurant has grown into one of the largest privately owned restaurants in New York State, by its own account. It’s also a hotel, wedding venue and caterer.

The sauce is original, and a fully staffed restaurant and lounge handle dinner. A 54-room Sleep Inn is attached, so out-of-town guests can sleep steps from the kitchen, with shuttle service to and from Syracuse Hancock International Airport. The event space can hold more than 400 people.
