Augur Doody Farm
About
Augur Doody Farm is a small family farm in the Springfield Center and Jordanville area of Herkimer County. The family milks dairy cows, raises beef cattle born and raised on the farm, and markets lamb from a flock of Dorset sheep that began as the kids’ 4-H project.
They also raise thousands of Cornish cross meat chickens, using rotational grazing for the dairy cows and pastured poultry for the chickens. A farmstand sells the farm’s beef, lamb and chicken along with local goods such as Dygerts milk, Gilligans ice cream, goat milk soap, syrup, spices and rubs.
