The American Indian Law Alliance is an Indigenous advocacy organization with a Liverpool address in Onondaga County, in the Syracuse area. Its purpose is to work with Indigenous Nations, communities and organizations around the world in the struggle for sovereignty, human rights and social justice.
Its approach rests on education, capacity building and legal advocacy, with the goal of empowering Indigenous communities and supporting their social, economic and cultural development. It is guided by the principle of the seventh generation, the idea that decisions made today should leave a healthy world for the next seven generations.
