Alcott Greenhouses

Alcott Greenhouses is a longtime plant seller in Oneida County, the sort of place gardeners head to when spring arrives. Its selection includes annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, vegetables, herbs, shrubs and seasonal plants. In a region where spring is eagerly awaited, a trip to the greenhouse is a seasonal ritual for many gardeners.

A greenhouse like this is useful for first-time gardeners and old hands alike, with starter plants ready to go into a flower bed, a vegetable plot or a porch planter. Because the stock is seasonal, the best choices change as the growing season moves along.
