Wilson Art Gallery
About
The Wilson Art Gallery is the exhibition space at Le Moyne College in Syracuse. It has been tied to the college library since the gallery began in 1965, and when the library moved into a new building in 1981 the gallery moved with it and took the name it carries today.
It is named for Jerome Wilson, who led the fundraising campaign for the new library. A faculty committee runs the gallery, which serves both the campus and the wider community. Artists who want to show their work submit portfolios, and the committee selects exhibits on merit and for a mix of media.
