Webster Pond

About

Webster Pond is a historic park on the south side of Syracuse, operated by the Anglers Association. It is home to hundreds of ducks and geese, and visitors are encouraged to come feed the birds.

Handicapped-accessible walkways and longer trails make it easy to get around, and the grounds are open year-round from sunrise to sunset. Feeding comes with a few rules: visitors buy corn from the Anglers Association for a donation, and crackers or bread should stay at home.

What to Know

  • Corn for the birds is sold by the Anglers Association for a donation.
  • Please skip bread and crackers, which are not good for ducks and geese.
  • Walkways are accessible, and longer trails extend beyond the pond.
  • Webster Pond is featured by Visit Syracuse.
