Tuscarora Golf Club
About
Tuscarora Golf Club is a golf club on the rolling hills of Marcellus, southwest of Syracuse. A group of Syracuse businessmen and professionals who loved the game founded it in 1923 with a simple idea: a club within the means of the average golfer, where golf comes first.
They hired golf course architect Seymour Dunn and got a little help from Robert Trent Jones. The club takes its name from the Tuscarora people. Today members play tree-lined fairways and small, fast greens, in keeping with the founders’ goal of golf that stays affordable.
